I’m currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for one of our esteemed clients in Surrey, who is actively seeking a Rent and Income Account Specialist.This is a pivotal moment to join a rapidly expanding organisation, offering a clear career trajectory and the chance to thrive and grow professionally. You will be responsible for overseeing and reporting on a portfolio of housing associations managing properties on behalf of our investors, serving as the Operational Managers. This role entails rent calculation and monitoring, collating and reporting on KPIs, ESG, and managing shared ownership initial sales and staircasing transactions.
Rent and Income Account Specialist + hybrid working & flexible working - £35,000 - £44,000
Experience:
- Experience in an accounting and/or finance function.
- Previous experience working with or for a housing association.
- Experience in calculating and invoicing rents.
- Proficiency in collecting and reporting on compliance, commercial, and environmental KPIs.
- Understanding of shared ownership, social and affordable rent, PRS, and DMR.
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Effective communication with senior individuals from external organisations.
- Enjoyment of collaborative teamwork, whether in-person or remote.
